At Home With the Lord

May 16, 2007: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Today is May 16, 2007 and our friend Joan is now in heaven. Because of her faith in the Lord and His strength in her body she was able through the things that she learned to live and bless us over 20 years longer than any doctor every dreamed. More

 

Health Update

Apr 30, 2007: Today's date is April 30, 2007 and I am in ICU. My lung collasped one week ago today and I was unable to breath out, only in. I am believing God to restore my breathing function. More

 

Vincas, Fire Ants & Tea Tree Oil

Aug 8, 2006: The Vincas... In late spring, after several days of rain, I dug up around the four Bradford pear trees in our front yard to make flowerbeds. I then gathered hitchhiking Vinca flowers from two larger flowerbeds, and transplanted them to the new beds around the Bradford pear trees. More

 

When Did Jesus Become Big Business?

Jul 27, 2006: Two days ago, on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, I visited a new super center Christian bookstore that moved to town a few months ago. The place overwhelmed me. There were books upon books on subjects galore from self-help to fiction, gobs of music and more music, videos, Bibles, Bible study guides, pictures, figurines, plaques, wall hangings, T-shirts, knick-knacks, cards, book marks, pens, highlighters, different scents of anointing oil, anointing oil flasks, and much much more. More

 

Hospital Protocol Override

Jul 23, 2006: My mother recently had successful surgery to replace her right knee. Overall, her hospital stay was as pleasant as it can get. Mom encountered only one rude nurse who probably forgot her nursing skills were for the patient, but overall the staff was pleasant. More
